Ein
herzliches Dankeschön kommt verspätet...im letzten Jahr sind mit der „Karuna Arts Kalender
Aktion“ 950 Euro zusammen gekommen. Das ist wirklich toll, wie
kontinuierlich viele von Euch/Ihnen jedes Jahr Kalender bestellen.
Leider gibt
in diesem Jahr keine Kalender... ich schreibe zur Zeit meine Doktorarbeit in
Tokio und hoffe auf ein weiteres Kalenderprojekt mit Japan Impressionen im
nächsten Jahr.
Ein
weiteres Anliegen habe ich. Es ist die Spendenaktion für Edgar Döll: für Edgar habe ich eine
Zeit als Assistentin gearbeitet. Edgar lebt mit Muskeldystrophie ein sehr
selbstbestimmtes Leben. Von meiner Arbeit mit ihm weiss ich, wie sehr er auf
mobile Unabhängigkeit angewiesen ist. Mit seinem Großraumbus fährt er zu
Arztbesuchen, Einkaufen und weitere Strecken, die mit öffentlichen
Verkehrsmitteln mit seinem E-rolli nicht möglich bzw. nur sehr eingeschränkt
möglich sind. Er benötigt dringend einen neuen Bus. Ich freue mich, wenn ihr
ihn darin unterstützt.

Dear friends, 2018/12/15
A special vote of
thanks comes quite a bit late… during the last year of the “Karuna Arts
Calendar Activity” we collected 950 Euro. That is wonderful thanks to your kind support ordering
calendars.
Unfortunately
there will be no calendar activity in this year due to busy times in studies (working
on my Phd here in Tokyo) and I hope we will be back next year with a new
calendar activity with impressions from Japan.
Another concern is
…”Edgar´s Charity call for a new vehicle”. I worked for Edgar as a personal assistance. Edgar lives
with a muscle disease an independent life in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. From my
work time with him I know how much he is depending on his van. He needs his big
bus for going to medical check-ups, shopping and distance travel where the
public transport often fails to travel with in his electronic wheelchair. Edgar
and Elke, his wife are in the need of a new vehicle as soon as possible. I am
very glad if you can help and give support to Edgar´s charity call.

Aktivitäten 2015/16
Was wir im Jahr 2016 gemeinsam
erreicht haben…
…zu verschiedenen Anlässen wurde
Karuna Arts aktiv und mit dem Verkauf von unseren Artikeln konnten wir schon Einiges
bewirken.
Rampur-Schulprojekt: ein
Teil der Einnahmen gingen an das neue Schulprojekt in Himachal Pradesh, Indien.

Ladakh Rigjung Public School: Unterstützung
der Renovierungsarbeiten der Schule in 2015/16.
Schulbankaktion SBA 2016:
50 Schulbänke für die Ladakh Rigjung Public School in Choglamsar konnten von
Karuna Arts finanziert werden.
Bildung in Indien: Individuelle
Unterstützung im Bereich Erwachsenenbildung
Befreiung von Leben: „Leben
schenken“ mit der Rettung von Tieren; Tiere zu befreien, ist eine buddhistische
Praxis mit sehr viel Verdienst.
Die Projekte, die von Karuna Arts
unterstützt werden: aktuell Rampur Schulprojekt und Ladakh Rigjung Public
School sind offiziell durch Kailash e.V. vertreten, ein Verein in Deutschland,
der sich für die Förderung von Bildungs- und Selbsthilfeprojekten im Himalaya

Activities 2015/16
What we have achieved together in 2016…
…on different occasions Karuna Arts became
active and with sale of our items we already managed to benefit others in this
way…
Rampur School Project: a part of the earnings were used
for Rampur School Project in Himachal Pradesh, India. A school will be
build… here you can find more information:
Ladakh Rigjung Public School: the support for the school renovation
in 2015/16.
School Desk Activity SDA 2016: 50 school desks for Ladakh
Rigjung Public School in Choglamsar were financed by Karuna Arts.
Education in India: individual support for adult education.
Release of Life: “Freeing Life” with animal release, to release
animals is a Buddhist practice of great merit.
The projects, supported by Karuna Arts are
presently: Rampur School project und Ladakh Rigjung Public School, both are
officially registered at the Kailash e.V. association in Germany. The
association supports education and self-help projects in the Himalaya. Here you

In Planung ist eine Schule für die Kinder und Jugendliche der Region und Hostelstudenten von Klasse 1. bis 12. zu errichten. Ein Kindergarten für die Vorschule ist ebenfalls vorgesehen. Eine aktive Schulbildung, die Moderne und Tradition verbindet und eine fundierte Grundlage den Schülern geben wird, später ein individuelles Leben gestalten zu können, ist der Grundstein des Projektes.
Produkte und Handarbeiten sind sorgfältig ausgewählt mit direkten Kontakt zum Hersteller mit dem Ziel gute Arbeitsbedingungen und Faires Handelsystem zu unterstützen. Mit dem Kauf eines der Produkte aus der Kunst Gallerie, die verschiedene Buddhistische Thanka Kunstzeigt, handgenähte Taschen oder Malas, es wird zu 100% den genannten Projekten zu Gute kommen. Karuna Arts is a platform for trade
of Handicrafts and Buddhist Arts from Asia. As being a non-profit project; it
supports child and youth education, health care and social engagement in remote
areas in India and Nepal. The income will be used for sole purpose of
benefitting different projects.
One of the present projects, which Karuna Arts supports is the construction
of a school to give education to children from
the area of Himachal Pradesh, Kinnaur and Lahul and Spiti in the northern part
of India. The planning is to build a school for children and youth from the
local region and hostel students from class 1. to 12. A nursery class for
Kindergarden will be included. An education which combines the modern way of
learning with tradition and gives a basic foundation to the students and how to
live a meaningful life is the aim of the project.
Products
and handicrafts are well selected via direct contact with the producer and also
aims to support good working condition and fare trade prizes. While buying any
product from the art gallery containing different types of Buddhist Thanka Art,
handmade bags or Malas, it will 100% benefit the mentioned projects. With your
